Amtrak and AAA Travel are offering exclusive savings for families traveling by train this year. With each paying adult passenger, up to two children between the ages of 2 to 15 can receive free rail fare tickets. This offer is in addition to the 10 percent member discount offered at AAA on the adult regular fares. Children under age two travel free. Tickets must be purchased between July 1 through August 31, 2004 at AAA Travel and it is valid for travel from August 1 through December 15, 2004. Some holiday blackout dates apply for the Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day holiday periods. Other restrictions may also apply. Amtrak stations are located across America and in Claremont, NH.
